Good or bad judgment: For SMT inductors, the reading should be zero at this time. If the multimeter reading is too large or infinite, it indicates that the inductor is damaged.
Inductance measurement: Set the multimeter to the buzzer diode position, place the probes on both pins, and observe the reading of the multimeter.
For coils with more turns and thinner wire diameters, the reading can reach tens to hundreds, and usually the DC resistance of the coil is only a few ohms.
The damage manifests as scalding or obvious damage to the inductor magnetic ring. If the inductor coil is not severely damaged and cannot be determined, its inductance can be measured using an inductance meter or judged using a replacement method.
Integrated inductors are suitable for damp and dry environments, high and low ambient temperatures, high-frequency or low-frequency environments, and should be noted for whether the inductor exhibits inductive or impedance characteristics.
